Assessments
Assessments
On Monday, we got a list of houses from the city through Habitat for Humanity. We broke up the list into 3, and broke up into 3 teams to go assess the damage of the houses. We found houses that looked very well taken care of, but we also found houses completely missing their roofs. One house was completely gone.
Sometimes it is easy for us to get into a routine and forget the extent of the damage from the tornado, but its still there. I, for example, don’t ever drive down Hackberry to Hargrove. I did the other day, and all of those feelings I felt the first time I saw the
damage came rushing back.
